Incoming winter weather is expected to
strike the East Coast hardest but could impact areas as far away as Texas.
This weekends storm could lead to dangerous driving conditions on the east coast, especially along I-95.
The East Coast is bracing for what forecasters are calling
a “potentially paralyzing storm” that threatens to dump as much as 2 feet
of snow on the nation's capital and could affect as many as 50 million people
from the East Coast as far south and west as Texas.
The storm is set to hit the mid-Atlantic
on Friday afternoon and continue into Saturday, making
for slick roads and potential power outages. Coastal flooding across the
eastern portion of the country is also a concern, as are strong winds up
and down the Interstate 95 corridor, especially around the D.C. area
and north toward New York.
